Pittsburgh Steelers Reclaim The Lead Following Mendenhall's Second Touchdown

Cincinnati tied the game at 17 following Jermaine Gresham's one-yard touchdown reception during the offense's first possession in the second half. The Pittsburgh Steelers, having only scored three points in their last four offensive possessions (interception, two three-and-outs), responded with a combination of runs and passes.

Starting from their own 19-yard line, Pittsburgh slowly posted chunks of yards against the Cincinnati Bengals defense, through the air and more importantly, on the ground; even though the Bengals' Robert Geathers and Michael Johnson shared a quarterback sack on Cincinnati's 19-yard line, the Steelers negated the sack with a 12-yard Mike Wallace reception.

Eventually the Steelers scored a touchdown following Rashard Mendenhall's nine-yard touchdown, taking a 24-17 lead with 1:55 remaining in the third quarter.
