3 - 3
Leading up to the Bengals/Ravens game Sunday is several headlines. For instance which rookie QB is better? Dalton or Newton? Is Joe Flacco an elite QB? While this makes good conversation since everyone has an opinion and everyone assumes they are right, it detracts from the real story. The real story is Flacco vs the Bengals. Since being drafted 18th overall in the 2008 draft Flacco is 3-3 vs the Bengals. Definately not the type of domination that you would expect from a team that claims to be Super Bowl contenders. In 6 career games against the Bengals, Flacco has thrown for 4 TDs. During the same period Flacco has thrown for 9 Interceptions. That's 4TD's vs 9 Ints. His completion percentage has been erratic at best. He has completed 73.6%, 70.9%, 65.5% of his passes in 3 games, and completed just 56.2%, 51.7%, 43.5% of his passes in the other 3 games.
Based on history the Bengals have a 50% of winning the game, and the Ravens have a 50% of losing the game. Flacco most likely will continue to be erratic against our 4-3 Defense. And speaking of the 4-3 defense, Flacco has struggled quite a bit this year against it. With humiliating losses against the Jags, Titans, Seahawks, (combined 11-16) it makes you wonder if Flacco will get the long term deal that he's hoping for or if the Ravens decide to change their personnel at quarterback. Anything is possible.

Steelers are most successful against the Bengals
but I could also see voting for the Browns, since the Bengals are generally a more talented team but play down to the opponent and only get 1 win per year against them.
I think this team had done a pretty good job of beating the playing down to their oponent thing.
This year, except for Denver beaten the lesser team. I excuse Denver as it is avery tough place for ateam of young or rookie players to play an away game at. It was only Green/ Dalton’s second game. If we played them again now – IMO, no contest.
"If we always agree, one of us is not necessary"
clearly the steelers have our number in the past decade
but with our youth movement, the tables may turn in the afc north. Lewis, Reed, Harrison and Troy cant play forever, I hope lol.
