Bengals Cornerback Adam Jones Listed As Probable
Even before Leon Hall fell during Sunday's game with a season-ending Achilles injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team was already short on cornerbacks. Kelly Jennings is slow to fully embrace and produce within defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's system while Adam Jones was recovering from a hamstring and groin injury this month. Now the injuries impacted the position largely with Jennings replacing Hall, who is expected to start his first game this season. Beyond that Chris Crocker often slide down as the team's third cornerback with Gibril Wilson coming into the game to replace Crocker at safety.
That configuration may still apply for Sunday's game. But this week they'll likely have help from a returning Adam Jones, who still missed Wednesday's practice. According to the team's injury report, Jones is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Other players listed as Probable includes Nate Clements (knee), Kyle Cook (foot), Chris Crocker (knee), Jonathan Fanene (illness), Andrew Hawkins (hamstring), Brian Leonard (knee), Dontay Moch (illness), Frostee Rucker (knee) and Gibril Wilson (ankle).

we need him big time for this game
ravens are pass happy lately.

Keep him away from returns....initially
We need him more at CB than in the return game…Let him slowly work himself in there…The call to have him return a punt as his first play back….while cool to watch and showed promise….probably wasn’t the best thing to do to a guy coming off a year injury….BUT GOOD NEWS…….welcome back….I can’t wait
Don't let him warm up on Sunday!
This way he won’t “pull” or “tear” anything………..great news, Pacman has killed the Ravens.

Stretching doesn't seem to work for our team......
just ask Dunlap, Pacman, etc., etc. etc.

b/c on paper
jennings could be a solid nfl cb. the reality of jennings appears to be, even zimmer can’t help jennings put his talent on the field. jennings has successfully defended 0 passes this season in cincy.
we gambled little when we traded for jennings. mcdonald would not have made the team and someone would have claimed him before he reached the practice squad. so we scored a project CB. if jennings gets his head straight in 2011, it was a hell of a trade for cincy. if not, he’s gone in 2012 and we lost nothing in the trade for him.
