The Bengals were without Rey Maualuga and Jermaine Gresham in Week 8 when they defeated the Seattle Seahawks on the road, but luckily, Thomas Howard played as did Adam Jones, who returned a punt for 63 yards in his first play in over a year. Bengals fans are hopeful that both Gresham and Maualuga are healthy in Week 9 because of the versatility that Gresham brings to the offense and the threat that Chris Johnson poses to the defense. Still, the Bengals have managed to stay relatively healthy through the first half of the season.
The Titans have place three players on Injured Reserve, include leading receiver Kenny Britt, but they have also managed to stay relatively healthy. In fact, they may be a little healthier than the Bengals based on the Wednesday practice report.
