Quick Injury Update: Carlos Dunlap Sits Again And A.J. Green Is Full Go
Fort the second time in as many days, Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap sat out of practice Thanksgiving Thursday. After suffering a hamstring injury in the final seconds against the Tennessee Titans, Dunlap has been significantly limited in his work. He missed the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 10 and only participated during 13 defensive snaps against the Baltimore Ravens after a full week of limited participation during practice.
Domata Peko (foot) also missed practice for the second straight day. Additionally after returning in a limited capacity on Wednesday, tight end Donald Lee sat on Thursday in what Geoff Hobson is saying may have resulted in a "set back." Nate Clements (knee), Brandon Ghee (groin) and Chris Crocker returned to practice in a limited capacity after sitting on Wednesday.
On the good news front, wide receiver A.J. Green (knee) and quarterback Andy Dalton (shoulder) were full go during the team's Thanksgiving practice.

Hopefully AJ will be a go
We need him. We need Dunlap back at least for the Pitt game at 100%.

Its good news that aj will be a go
we need him since surprisingly cleveland has the #1 passing defense right now.
Missing dunlap won’t be too detrimental since other d-lineman are stepping up(Atkins) and I have no doubt there will be a lot of pressure on McCoy on Sunday.
I'm starting to think
We should draft a good DE as insurance for Dunlap. He seems to be injured more than I’m comfortable with since the start of his career.
What do you do when there's no way out? Find a way to get deeper in it.

Not worried about Dunlaps injurie(s)
But this group of Dlinemen we have are so good that will not be able to re-sign all of them. thus we will be drafting some dline.
i agree about drafting DL this year late in the draft
but Carlos has only been injuried this year I believe…. I thought he didn’t play early last year was because he wasn’t practicing hard
AMAS
Dunlap
I’m hoping he didn’t have any setbacks and the coaches are just saying “hey, we’re going to give you the week off so you are 100% against the Steelers”. The Bengals don’t need to put Dunlap out there lacking his burst like they did against the Ravens. It just means the D-line is rushing the passer one man short. The Steelers game shows their find without Dunlap in the short term.
Any news on Michael Johnson?
I’m thinking AJ is going to be pretty motivated against Hayden this time around. Should be interesting to watch. I just hope Jerome doesn’t go back to his “ho hum” attitude and work ethic. If he continues to put together games like he did against the Ravens, with AJ at 100% and Hawkins in there this WR core is dynamic.
Welcome back AJ!
C’mon Carlos…..we need you buddy!
