Following their opening second half field goal early in the third quarter, the Cleveland Browns have ended possessions with an interception and consecutive three and out possessions. A defensive holding on second and seven by Kelly Jennings extends Cleveland's possession eventually setting up a third and six from the Browns 45-yard line with just under three minutes remaining in the game. Quarterback Colt McCoy takes the shotgun snap and finds a wide open Greg Little within a hole in the zone, picking up 19 yards on the play and the first down. Following a three-yard run by Peyton Hillis, the Bengals use their first timeout of the second half.

Hillis takes the pitch to the left where Frostee Rucker and Nate Clements waited, dropping the running back for a three-yard loss as the game reaches the two minute warning.

Third and 10 from the Bengals 37-yard line with 1:59 remaining in the game. Colt McCoy lines up in shotgun, receives the snap and surveys the field with eight Bengals defenders rushing, forcing the incomplete pass.

Phil Dawson jogs on the field and due to a bad snap, the Browns place kicker leans the football wide left for the missed field goal.

Now the Bengals have the football on their own 45-yard line on first down with 1:51 remaining in the game. The game is on the line. Cincinnati just needs to move the football a chunk of yards with two timeouts.

Dalton takes the shotgun snap and overthrows the football deep down the left sidelines for Jerome Simpson. On second down Leonard takes the inside handoff, picking up two yards on the run and setting up third and eight from their own 47-yard line. Dalton takes the shotgun snap and throws down the middle of the football where A.J. Green jumps for the contested pass. He comes down with the football and sprints down the left sidelines before being pushed out of bounds at the two-yard line.

Following a Nate Livings false start, the Bengals setup on Cleveland's seven-yard line where Benson is dragged down following a two-yard gain. On second and goal from the five yard line, Dalton hands off to Benson, who's dropped after another one-yard gain while the Browns use their second timeout of the half.

Benson is dropped for another loss to Cleveland's eight-yard line as the Browns use their final timeout. Mike Nugent converts the 26-yard field with 38 seconds remaining in the game.
