You knew it was coming this week.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is nominated for this week's Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, his fifth nomination this year include a week nine winner for his performance against the Tennessee Titans. Dalton completed 21 of 31 passes against the Cleveland Browns for 270 yards and a touchdown for a passer rating of 105.6 -- his fifth 100-plus passer rating game this season.
Remember that this is a fan vote, so load up your browsers and make Dalton the run-away winner.
Other nominations include Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu, who carried the football 23 times for 108 yards rushing and a touchdown. He also added 54 yards receiving on seven receptions. Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, 208 yards passing and 53 yards rushing, and Houston Texans J.J. Watt, five solo tackles and two quarterback sacks were also nominated. Arizona Cardinals, the fifth and final nomination, posted five tackles and returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown, giving him four punt returns for touchdown, tying the league record for most in a single season.
