Thursday's Practice/Injury Report: Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) At Tennessee Titans (4-3)

For the second time this week, linebacker Rey Maualuga (ankle), cornerback Adam Jones (hamstring), tight end Jermaine Gresham (hamstring) and guard Mike McGlynn (non-injury related) missed practice as the team moved to Paul Brown Stadium for Thursday's practice.

Even though all three players worked on the side, it's likely that the team was being be a little cautious with all three during a rain-soaked afternoon. Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer is already labeling Gresham out for the game, writing that " it will be the second (missed game) for Gresham." Maualuga is all but certain to miss his third game this weekend.

Safety Chris Crocker and cornerback Nate Clements were given what amounts to veterans rest on Wednesday, but only participating in position drills on Thursday while sitting out team participation.

These injuries are going to bite us

We need both Rey and Gresham….they are key players on both sides of the ball….I hope this is just us being cautious for a possible playoff push after the Titans game…..

I like what they're doing

They had a switch in medical personnel last year. I like these moves. They are getting “healthy” for the Steelers. I think the Titans really aren’t that good. Last in the league at running the ball. They have to rely on their passing game and their best receiver, Britt, I think is out for the year. They are decent on D but the Bengals should win this, even without Gresham and Maualuga. I want to get healthy for a banged up Steelers team next week. I like the approach with players this year. Be conservative and keep them on the field all season rather than taking chances they will be on IR.
