6 Days!

Time to get pumped up for Pittsburgh!

Star-divide

We've got 6 days until the moment we've been waiting for all season! I know we're all still pumped up from this last win, but what's your early thoughts for Sunday?

Predicitions?

Going to the game?

What're you gonna do to celebrate if we win?!

If I was gambling........I think the Steelers win

But I think we play them close and Andy gets some great experience from the game and plays well. I just dont like the way we have been running the ball all season and eventually its going to bite us.

That said…..

there is absolute possibility that we win. The Pitt O-line is not that great and if we can get pressure without having to Blitz, we could really make some things happen on D. I also like Dalton’s ability to make quick reads which is necessary against Pitt. I would love to see them take some shots downfield with Green against Taylor, and also use Gresham in the middle a lot versus linebackers.

Hi fans it Brandon Roy.
And ME.....LaMarcus Aldridge

of course you do

Your forgetting one thing

We have changed our offense to a West Cost offense. Steelers traditionally don’t do well against West Cost offenses. It takes their LBers out of their game, and forces them to play coverage instead of running down hill. Harrison, Woodley and Timmons run downhill better then any other LB corps in the NFL. But Harrison absolutely SUCKS in coverage. Same for the other guys. Did you watch the SB? They were horrible. Bengals 30 – Steelers 16. Not even close.

Agreed

Definitely got a point there. Our offense is a lot different then what they’re used to seeing from us. I feel like if we can get the ball moving through Benson/Scott then it’ll open up some good lanes and hopefully some deep shots too. If the line can keep Dalton clean, then we have a chance. And as long as he keeps that same composure we’re used to seeing. Limit the mistakes and big plays and we win.

But Harrison absolutely SUCKS in coverage

This is absolutely wrong. And Lawrence Timmons is one of the best LBs in coverage. Woodley and Farrior/Foote are the ones who struggle.

And I’m sure everyone watched the SB, but surely you don’t have the Packers offense or all-world Aaron Rodgers at QB.

I think I'm supposed to insult you here, right?

I’m not sure. I get confused on how to handle interlopers at times.

you don’t have the Packers offense or all-world Aaron Rodgers at QB.

but we did all get Jermama in the butt… or something like that.

How did I do?

\not really into the trash talk

I’m not really trash talking. Aaron Rodgers is insanely good, and that’s not taking anything away from Dalton. Dalton is young and has been very impressive, but he is not Rodgers.

I didn’t mean to imply you are. Was just preempting some other …

you know, I don’t think I’ve seen our former idiots yet. That was a couple years ago. Maybe they learned a lesson about doing that.

And you are right, he ain’t Rodgers. I would take him any day. Hell, I hear some people saying that he is playing the best football at QB, right now, that has ever been played.

It certainly seems that way. he just keeps getting better

But you can’t help but be excited about Dalton. Who woulda thought he’d be this good.

I'm going!

I’m excited to be a part of the first sell-out of the season, and EXTRA excited to be going to my first Bengals-Steelers game since, I believe, 04’. I would love nothing more than to see the Bengals get a big time win, a possible season propeller, in front of the home crowd. If we get a win this week, there’s no way the hype for this team won’t become present on all levels of media.

That is all for right now, just wanted to express how amped I am to be going to this game!

I'm going too

First Bengals/Steelers game I’ve been to and I cannot wait!

Bengals 31-17 win!

Our Defense is better than the Ravens. Only worried about Reggie Nelson getting beat with no saftey help. The front 4 are really good but if we are missing Dunlap, it will be a littl problematic.

Our offense can score on any team. Look for Benson and Scott to gouge their D-Line. Then they will pull the LBs close. Then look for Gresh, (hopeully Lee) to split them wide open, confuse the secondary, then Green and Simpson to feast!

9 penalties fo 87 yards is too much! Offense was responsible for 50 of those yards – Livings, Simpson gotta get themselves together!

I represent the Bengals of Cincinnati with extreme passion and prejudice and make no apologies for it!
