Bengals Quarterback Andy Dalton Nominated For Rookie Of The Week Award
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is nominated for the week nine Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week following Cincinnati's 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday, completing 22 of 39 passes for 217 yards passing, three touchdowns and a passer rating of 97.9. It's Dalton's fourth rookie of the week nomination this year, following his performances against the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts. So make sure you go here and vote today, tomorrow and let all of your friends and family members know. Though we're fairly certain he doesn't care, we're going to win this award for Dalton at some point this season. Why not today?
Other nominations for this week's Pepsi Rookie of the Week are:
Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu -- 14 passes for 105 yards receiving and ran the football 10 times for 41 yards rushing. Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones -- three receptions for 131 yard receiving and two touchdowns. Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray -- 139 yards rushing and 22 carries. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson -- returned a punt 99 yards for a touchdown in overtime to give Arizona the win. Peterson also posted an interception and three tackles.

Gotta be Peterson
I love Dalton as much as the rest of us, but Peterson basically won that game for AZ.

And 3 TDs didn't win the game for the Bengals?
I fail to see your line of reasoning.

Agree to an extent
But it is easier for a qb to be in a position to win (or lose) the game for his team. It is far more extraordinary for a cb to help his team so much – especially on both sides of the ball like PP.
