It's really crazy that quite a few people on here today after the loss are being so negative. This loss was not fun to watch. I understand that. It hurt me just as much as the next person here to watch OUR Bengals lose the game the way they did. But, I don't get the horrible negativity floating around.
Today was a tough day. Not just for you. For me too. We are all fans of this team are we not? If you are not then why are you here? Just think for a minute if you will about what you expected from this team coming into this season......Probably was not very high expectations was it? No. Now think of where we are right now.......7-6 still with a very realistic shot at finishing 10-6......Remember now this is with a rookie QB.
I understand everyones frustration with this loss but is it necessary to say that Zimmer is horrible. Look how many injuries we have this season....I think he is doing a remarkable job with what he has.
Now there are some things that just flat out have to be better. We have to have a #2 WR and a secondary that can cover somebody. Oh and a stud RB would be nice. But if you can honestly tell me that you expected this team to come out and win the dang Super Bowl this year you are delusional.
What I don't understand is the people that are saying that this team is horrible and they will never be good. I'm pretty excited about what this team could do in a year or two with a couple of FA signings and a nice draft or two who knows..............I honestly believe this team could be great.
If all you want to do is complain about everything that is wrong with the organization how about you look at the positive things going on here. This is a blog for Bengals FANS not cynics and people who are dead set to hate the organization. Maybe things will never change the Bengals will never be great but if you think that then why are you a fan?
Everyone needs to calm down. This was one loss. One season. With rookies. Riddled with injuries. I think the future looks bright for the Bengals.
Sorry for the rant . Just had to get it out of me.
