The first time Dalton won the award was in Week 9 when he led the Bengals to victory over the Titans in Nashville by throwing three touchdown passes in a game for the first time in his young career.

He won it this week by leading the Bengals to a come-from behind victory over the Browns in Cincinnati in Week 12. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown for a 105.6 passer rating.

Dalton is one of three rookies to win the award more than once. The others are 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith (won in Week 5 and Week 6) and Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore (won in Week 2 and Week 10).

Hopefully Dalton is nominated for the award again after Sunday when a Bengals victory over the Steelers.
