The Bengals have some good news and some not-so-good news for their fans today. The good news is that during Thursday's practice, left tackle Andrew Whitworth participated at a limited capacity, which is a good sign that he'll play against the Cardinals on Saturday. The bad news is that both Rey Maualuga and Nate Clements, the team's starting middle linebacker and cornerback, did not practice for reasons that didn't have to do with an injury. This is likely no big deal at all and I would be surprised if neither of them played. Andre Caldwell also sat out of practice for the second straight day.
For the Cardinals, the only player that didn't practice on Thursday was right offensive tackle Brian Keith, who also didn't practice on Wednesday, due to an injured ankle. Quarterback Kevin Kolb was limited in practice for the second straight day.
