Fantasy Football league: $20 entry fee, winner takes all

I wanna get a 10 team fantasy league going with $20 entry fee, winner takes all. Please let me know if you will be interested, as I know a few people want to start a league from the monday night open thread. The first 9 people to respond will be in the league, providing they will be able to use pay pal for this league.

Also, this will be a keeper league and will hopefully go on for years to come.

The rules and website will be determined after all members have signed up and we agreed to the website we want to use and the type of league we want to create.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Cincy Jungle's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Cincy Jungle's writers or editors.

It would be really nice if

We can get 10 guys one being a mod/writer on cj.com to have a weekly fantasy post to keep everyone updated. Also I had a couple other ideas as well.

Whatever week the championship game is played on everyone who can from the league meets in a central location and takeover a bar to watch the games, and our beloved Bengals.

Also if we could promote it maybe we can get donations for prizes for the league winner and runner-ups.

We have a year to get a well defined league. Also we should vote who will be league head. Lets do this thing right so we can have a blast for years to come.

Also from the post per today

It looks like there is already a league or two started. We should coordinate with them and do some big thangs next year!

Just an idea

If you all want to make this a yearly thing, it would be cool to have a bad ass trophy that can be passed on year to year. Maybe have the winner and year engraved on it. The league I’ve been in for 5yrs now has a replica Lombardi trophy. The money is great but having that to look at and remind you of dominance is priceless.

Sounds awesome, but I can't

being sick makes it hard to plan that far ahead for something needing money and time. Have an awesome time. Keep updates.

... I still say it was a touchdown, got tammit.

Brain fart

To keep everyone interested and communicating untill next season why not do something like a NCAA bracket to determine draft spots. Or anything like that. Playoff bracket, NBA finals, or 10 sports events, winner getting 1st and so on. What ya think?

That's a great idea

I vote for the NCAA Bracket

NCAA would be my first choice the it would be picking 10 (or how ever many people) major sport events and do some kind of pool on them. The winner of the first one gets the first pick and so on. That way you really drag it out. But the tourney would probably be best.

That would be good

We would just need to fin 10 events to do it.
1. NCAA Tourney
2. NBA Playoff bracket
3……

If anyone watches UFC we could do a fight card pick ’em

Good question

I guess we’ll have to wait till after the season to see how soon you can start another. AMA are you running this?

by Bigcatdaddy on Dec 30, 2011 12:10 PM EST via Android app up reply actions

it doesn't matter to me

we can set up where multiple GMs can control things to help out organizing the league

AMAS

You can usually sign up on the site

to get an email for when they open registration for fantasy football.

I like NFL.com for fantasy

I’ve played them all and I like it best.
