Cincy Jungle Fantasy Football Results

Another Fantasy Football season has come and gone.

This year Josh was able to quickly acquire 16 teams for the CJ fantasy football league - so many so, that a 2nd CJ league was also started.

The season ended with the top 8 teams making the playoffs.

Star-divide

11-2..1264...Rileys Rattlers

10-3..1315...More Sacks Please

9-4...1350...Nihil Obstat

9-4...1125...Kirkendall Krull

8-5...1100...Who Dey Throw the Ball

7-6...1183...Certified Ninja

7-6...0958...Wisekings

6-7...1205...The Infamous

Riley’s Rattlers finished with the best record, and Nihil Obstat finished with the most points.

In round 1, all of the top 4 seeds advanced easily except for Riley surviving a close 138.70-134.94 scare in a 1 vs. 8 matchup.

In round 2, Riley defeated Kirkendall 99.6-83.90, while Nihil Obstat beat More Sacks Please 119.66-99.90, to set up a 1 vs. 3 matchup in the finals between the team with the best record vs. the team with the most points.

In the title game, Nihil Obstat was bolstered by good performance by Michael Vick, Jordy Nelson, and Calvin Johnson en route to a 103.72-74.52 victory.

After the game, Nihil Obstat’s manager Ephram was quoted as saying that he was relieved to win the championship as it kept his 50% mark alive, as it was his 8th fantasy football title in 16 fantasy football seasons (spread over 10 years). And he is looking forward to defending his title next year.

This league was a blast.

I got bailed out by a late trade that looked questionable at the time but in retrospect was a great deal. Then Jennings went down and…

My team was a mess

I screwed up my draft and never recovered. I’m trying again next year.
