Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton put together a great first half that helped Cincinnati establish a 20-point half time lead that would eventually be all that the Bengals would need to secure their ninth win of the year. In that first half Dalton completed 15 of 22 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns and a passer rating of 115.0.
For his performance against the Arizona Cardinals, Dalton is nominated for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, finishing the game with 18 completions, 154 yards passing and two touchdowns.
By our count this is Dalton's sixth nomination this year, winning twice for his performances against the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns.
Other rookie nominations this week includes Oakland's Denarius Moore (four receptions, 84 yards receiving and a touchdown), Carolina's Cam Newton (171 yards passing, three touchdowns passing and a rushing touchdown), Minnesota's Mistral Raymond (six tackles, one interception) and Washington's Evan Royster (19 rushes, 132 yards rushing).
