Did you hear that buzzer? Was it the alarm clock wake up call (and don't dare hit the snooze), or it was from the kitchen oven letting us know the "Humble Pie" is ready...Are we done yet? Is the season over? All the pundits will be burning up the airways dismissing us and say… “I told you so”… “No, these Bengals aren’t for real”… “Here’s what they need to do”…(Cough cough…). I sat nay nay!..

There is no doubt in my military mind that we absolutely “stunk” it up at Heinz field. We were “nervous nillies”.. The team didn’t do many things right did they? This game, this season, this team just makes you wanna explode! And yeah, maybe they did need a good "butt-whipping", a really humbling whipping, to let them know kiddie time is over. And it's probably best coming from the Steelers..

1. It makes you wonder how the heck can we improve the defensive secondary at this stage to still make it successful season?
2. Is the defense is going to get healthy enough to help us this year?
3. It makes you wonder how we get Andy healthy while hoping his confidence hasn’t been shaken because his damn line can’t protect him!
4. It makes you wonder how the team goes from no penalties to giving up the length of the football field in penalties. In fact, it might make you wonder if the league is conspiring to turn a blind eye to penalties where the Bengals are concerned.

“Revenge is a dish best served cold” - meaning the best payback is the one that comes with planning and patience. It brings the most horrendous pain to your enemies when they least expect it. It is best served just when they are enjoying all the fruits of the dishonor they brought upon you.

Win the rest of our games and get the wildcard birth. Win the first playoff game. Then guess what?

Back to the scene of the crime – Heinz Field. Only this time, “we will win”! Oh how sweet is that?
