Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
Marvin Austin has first round talent, so he is gladly selected in the 2nd round by the Tennessee Titans. At 6'2" and 310 pounds, Austin has the potential to be a serious threat in the middle of a Titans defense, which hasn't been the same since the departure of Albert Haynesworth. Austin is powerful, aggressive and has a mean streak you want to see in your defensive tackle. You wont be able to find any game tape on Austin from last season, due to his dismissal from the North Carolina Tarheels football team. He was kicked off the team due to contact with an agent as well as academic cheating. A famous Tennessean once said, "If you aint cheatin', you aint tryin'!", and the Titans agree. Austin registered 42 tackles, six for a loss, and four sacks during his junior season. The Titans defense has a few holes to fill, and Austin is a very solid player that can contribute immediately.
