Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis At Auburn's Pro Day

Stay connected for news and updates

Auburn and Arkansas are holding their Pro Days on Tuesday, with talents like quarterback Cam Newton, defensive tackle Nick Fairley and quarterback Ryan Mallett working out (and showing off probably) to NFL scouts.

And according to Joe Reedy, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is attending Auburn's Pro Day.

Keep in mind. The Bengals will send representatives to most college Pro Days for due diligence reasons. Lewis attending Auburn's Pro Day could be nothing more than that; information gathering. It could also mean that the team may draft Newton or Fairley if either fall to them, considering that both play positions that are positions of need. The last time we tried getting into Marvin Lewis' head, our totem didn't act right.

Then again, Lewis could just be swinging through after having lunch with Brad Childress.

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is on hand, as is Denver Broncos Executive VP of Football Operations John Elway.

In other news, Ryan Mallett ran a 5.37 40-yard dash during Arkansas' Pro Day. Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith ran a 5.28.
