Andrew Whitworth To Host Offensive Linemen For Offseason Workouts
According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Bengals offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth will "host" the Bengals offensive line for workouts next week. Since there's no specifics on which players will actually attend, we can only assume it's the entire offensive line, including various degrees of free agents. That includes Bobbie Williams, Andre Smith, Otis Hudson, Kyle Cook, Reggie Stephens, Nate Livings, Anthony Collins, Jason Shirley, Kirk Chambers, Andrew Gardner, Dennis Roland and Anthony Mitchell.
Though we have a suspicion that Evan Mathis won't be participating.
This shouldn't be that surprising. Whitworth remains as one of the team's de facto offensive captains and leaders along the offensive line. Various reports have surfaced in recent weeks that several players are working out at facilities like Ignition in Mason, D-1 in Sharonville and quarterbacks working out with receivers in Southern California.
Now if we can just get everyone together at once. Perhaps this weekend, finding time to watch Chad Ochocinco suffer a career-threatening injury riding a bull because that totally makes sense.

Andre Smith are you serious!
I’d say there’s about a 99% chance Andre doesnt attend

Andre Smith join?
I wouldn’t give it a 1% chance of him going………….he must be up to about 450 by now (which means he’ll lose money since we put the “fat clause” in his contract)

RE:
Doesn’t say. We’re just making assumptions and we have no idea if that will include rookies.

Ah, well hopefully he'll be there...
He’ll at least need SOME work to beat out livings,.. ;D
RE:
It’s not an organized team function and thus not mandatory. So no contract is needed. If Whitworth called you up and say work out with us, it would be no different. Except you’re probably not an NFL-ready offensive linemen - but that’s just minor details. ;)
