So assuming the Bengals are ushering in a new breed of characters on offense with the drafting of AJ Green and Andy Dalton, it looks like trading Carson Palmer and Ochocinco might be in the cards so we can at least get some value for their departure.

From reading around the internet, there seems to be some decent talent out there that are on the trading block. Here's a few trade ideas:

Carson Palmer(+ future draft pick(s) or B. Scott or Cedric Peerman) for Adrian Peterson: I know it sounds ludicrous, but there's rumors that AP is on the trading block and although the Vikings drafted a QB, they would prefer to have a proven vet who can just step in and run the show. Carson still has some decent seasons left in him and may prove ideal for their offense.

Chad for Kevin Kolb: Yes, we drafted Dalton but he may need a year or two to polish his game to be a legit starter in the NFL. Why not get some value for Chad by trading him to a team that needs another WR threat for Vick to throw to in exchange for a NFL-starting level QB who can run the Cincy offense while Dalton hones his pro skills.

Carson or Chad for Snelling or Barber or Lynch(+picks for either RB): All these teams have disposable RBs and there's no guarantee Ced Benson is going to return to the Bengals, so acquiring a solid starting RB to complement our now stellar receving corps is a must to balance out the offense. Snelling has tons of talent but is shackled backing up Michael Turner. Barber hsd been all but under utilized in Dallas' RB by committee, and we have seen what Lynch can do in last season's playoffs. Mind you, we should also get picksor other players along with any of these RBs since we would be giving up more as well as a bigger contract.
