As expected, Ochocinco is using the Interwebs to sing the praises of Terrelle Pryor after their workout this morning:
Media says @tpeezy2 is an NFL QB .I come out n see 4 myself n this mofo is good as hell.He messed up yes but got damn he can throw shhh!!!
I meant to say the media said @tpeezy2 isn't NFL type QB,after running routes n seeing great timing n arm strength I beg to differ.
Last tweet about @tpeezy2 With the right coaching after what I saw today with my own eyes he can be a great QB.
And, also as expected, during his conference with the media this afternoon Pryor apologized for what's gone down at OSU (though never specifically mentioning anything), saying he is "sorry for [his] conduct off the field."
So Drew Rosenhaus's plan continues to unfold. Whether the image overhaul will help Pryor get selected in the July supplemental draft before the sixth or seventh round, if at all, remains to be seen. Rosenhaus is passing around the special Kool-Aid though:
I'm very confident that this drive, this character, this makeup -- along with his incredible physical ability -- he's one of the most gifted quarterbacks that the NFL has seen. For anybody who questions where he's going to be drafted, I expect him to be a first-round pick in the supplemental draft.
We'll have to wait and see if any team is willing to take a sip.
