Earlier Sunday morning, WLWT broke the news that Bengals cornerback Adam Jones was arrested at a local Cincinnati bar. They wrote that Jones was disruptive and when he refused to leave the bar, the police were called. Jones reportedly struggled to get out of his handcuffs, which required two officers to restrain him. Jones has since denied he was drunk.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Jones was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest Sunday morning. The arrested ocured at 2:35 a.m. at the "Scene bar at 639 Walnut Street".
Police said Jones was disorderly and shouting profanities inside the bar. He was escorted outside and asked to calm down but continued being disruptive, police said.
Police told Jones he was under arrest but he resisted, tightening his arms and pulling away.
