After dropping Kelly Gregg, Willis McGahee, and Todd Heap, word has leaked out that the Ravens have also cut Derrick Mason per Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun.
Bloodbath in Baltimore. Ouch.

I like Mason.
But i don’t like what he’s said about the Bengals (am I thinking the right guy?). I also would be ok with Willis Mcgahee as a last resort RB option.
I'd be most OK with Heap.
and forgo re-signing Reggie Kelly.
A TE trio of Gresham, Coffman, and Heap would be SCARY. Teams can effectively utilize 3 TE’s in today’s game – just look no further than NE last season with their TE trio of Alge, Gronkowski, and Aaron Hernandez. They were all studs, and each contributed significantly in their own way (habing Brady as QB also helps) Plus, consider the extra “security blanket” for Dalton having Gresh, Coff, and Heap, combined with the fact that an extra player will now dress on game day under the rules of the new CBA. I would have faith in Jay Gruden’s creativity to utilize all three. Also, signing Heap weakens a division foe. Wishful thinking??
