Bengals players are starting to show up at Paul Brown Stadium Tuesday morning, around the time that the doors officially welcomed back their players after the league's lockout was lifted Monday. According to Fox 19's Joe Danneman and Bengals.com beat writer Geoff Hobson, players like Mike Nugent, Kevin Huber, Reggie Stephens, Dennis Roland, Kyle Cook, Andre Smith and the team's de facto Captain and player representative Andrew Whitworth have already shown up. Yes. Our offensive line is READY for some football, right?
Bengals President Mike Brown and head coach Marvin Lewis are scheduled for a press conference on Tuesday, announcing their plans at Georgetown. The word is that players will report on Friday with the first practice coming on Saturday. This will be two days later than the July 28th date that was scheduled long, long, ago.
In the meantime the team can continue with signing their 2011 NFL Draft picks, undrafted players while negotiating with free agents.
