According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Cincinnati Bengals signed Lindenwood wide receiver Jamere Holland as an undrafted free agent. The 5-foot-11 Holland boasted a 4.36 40-yard dash during Missouri's Pro Day in March.
Holland suffered a broken collarbone during the 2006 fall camp which required surgery during his first year at USC. Before the 2007 season began, he was dismissed and Florida denied his transfer. Holland found a home with the Oregon Ducks, where he was dismissed again for a violation of team rules because Holland allegedly challenged head coach on Facebook. Before his dismissal from Oregon, Holland posted 13 receptions for 199 yards receiving in 10 games during the 2009 season.
According to Pro Football Weekly's prospect review:
Received another football life in prolific, extraordinarily talented NAIA offense where he was the most athletic player on the field every week and looked like a human joystick against very marginal competition. A former highly sought-after recruit with stops at USC and Oregon on his résumé, Holland boasts speed in the 4.3s and return experience that will earn him a look. However, character needs to be evaluated.
