Official List Of Cincinnati Bengals Undrafted Free Agent Signings
The Cincinnati Bengals finally released their official list of undrafted free agent signings.
A tally from us? We missed two players that were signed, James Holland (WR) and Steven Robinson (RB) and added one that wasn't, Ryan McKnight (OL). The Bengals signed three running backs, three wide receivers, three offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, a safety, linebacker, tight end, long snapper and place kicker.
Along with the players listed, you have the links to a posting on that player.

Damn
Schefter: Filed to ESPN: Texans reach agreement with former Bengals CB Johnathan Joseph on a five-year deal. Nnamdi to Jets looking more likely.
I know good players can come from anywhere....
….but the big power ncaa football conferences the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10, and ACC.
And generally your better players come from the better teams in the better conferences – which is what makes those teams & conferences better. But looking at the Bengals’ UFA’s there are hardly any from those top conferences:
SEC: 1
Big 10: 0
Big 12: 0
Pac 10: 2
ACC: 0
Granted the ACC isn't going to produce an Alabama or Ohio St calibre type of team...
But they are solid with teams like Fla St, V Tech, Mia (FL), G Tech, UNC, BC, etc…
Are they up there w/the SEC? No
But they are much better than the fodder below them (WAC, Big Least, Mt West, Sun Belt, etc…)
No seriously they are a bad football conference.
They are equal to the Big East in football. They both might be BCS AQ conferences but they are not big power conferences.

Ouch!
Talk about dissing the ACC, dumping then down to the level of the Big East…
Looking at the # of top-25 teams based on their BCS rankings:
SEC…6
Big 12…5
Big 10…3
WAC…3
Pac 10…2
ACC…2
Mt West….2
Conf USA…1
Big East…1
The Big East only had W Virginia, ranked 22. All of the other automatic qualifier BCS conf’s had at least 2 teams. Heck, the WAC had 3 of them.
I’d put SEC at top
then Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 in the next tier
then the ACC
then the Wac, Mt West, B East in a 4th tier
then Conf USA
and then finally the sun belt and the rest at the bottom….
The Big East was only an automatic qualifier because of schools like Miami (FL) and V Tech, who have since defected for the ACC.
As to the SEC signing
Dequin Evans wouldn’t make the roster of the other 31 NFL teams. Fortunately he had the foresight to sign with the Bungals.
Someone needs to tell the FA
we’re not drafting for arena football.
