The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with their second (compensatory selection) seventh-round draft pick, Baylor running back Jay Finley. Finley is currently one of only a few running backs signed to the roster and could compete for some playing time, either in third-down packages and/or on special teams. Though it seems most likely he'll be a practice squad player with Brian Leonard recently re-signing and Bernard Scott being the primary "scat back".
Finley posted 1,218 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns, averaging 6.2 yards/rush. He posted 250 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a 47-42 win over Kansas State. During Baylor's 30-22 win over Texas, Finley posted 116 yards rushing and in a 42-30 loss to Texas A&M, he recorded three rushing touchdowns.
With Finley in the fold, the Bengals now have one draft pick that have yet to sign their contract with the club: third-round selection Linebacker/Defensive End, Dontay Moch.
