Andre Smith And Morgan Trent Not Dressed For Practice
According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, offensive tackle Andre Smith and cornerback Morgan Trent are not dressing for practice Saturday afternoon, which was rescheduled for 6:40 p.m. with thunderstorms in the area. Trent and Smith suffered season-ending injuries around the same time last year in early-to-mid November.
Smith, who showed up at camp at a reported 338 pounds, was in a walking boot as late at last month after having surgery to repair a fractured fifth metatarsal in his left foot. There is a general hope that he should be well enough to start practicing relatively soon.
Morgan Trent, who told Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer in late May that his knee was fully recovered, had his contract reworked Friday to protect the team.
Also the team announced that the Thomas Howard signing is now official. Unfortunately free agents aren't allowed to practice until the start of the new year, which begins August 4.

They probably are takeing it safe with Smith. He is going to be well needed this year. Atleast he is in good shape when they do dress him for practice.
+1
And he’s already shown he doesn’t need training camp.
