Ravens Fans Shouldn't Be So Confident Against The Bengals
If Bengals fans are anything, we're a prideful bunch. Sure. We can demean and make fun of our own team all we want, but we're allowed that luxury. Another base of fans talking ill about us or our our boys, and we'll bark like nasty dogs spitting acidic blood from our foaming mouths. And we know Baltimore Beatdown enough that they're just point out the fairly obvious. The Bengals are probably going to stink this year.
If the prognostication becomes reality, then this must come as a relief to the Baltimore Ravens, who have lost eight of the previous 12 meetings against the Cincinnati Bengals. During Cincinnati's 4-12 season last year, one came against the Ravens in a game that surely stalled Joe Flacco's chances as a first-time Hall of Fame ballot. Otherwise, as he'll tell you straight up, he's a damn good quarterback.
Bengals fans might not have much this year to root for. There's a lot of issues facing this team which forces us to often tune out the rest of the NFL until our own home gets in order. But you can be assured that while we have the juice left, we'll have a little fun with our Ravens friends. At least that'll keep things fun for a season in which BBD justifiably projects, could lead into the division basement.

Fanposts provide room for discussion
No need for pictures and jumps and all that.
Might be Josh is also trying to jumpstart this part of the site. More fanposts! MORE! MORE!

I didn't say it was rational.
The level of new posts is staggering at Cincy Jungle.

I know.
If you go two days without checking CJ, you get lost in all the stories you missed. It’s awesome.
Miggy Miggy Miggy, can't you see?
Sometimes your skills just hypnotize me.
And I just love your veteran ways,
You're unappreciated and under-paid.
Honestly...
I don’t think their secondary matches up with us very well and our defense is still basically our defense sooooo. I still think we can tango with them.
J. Flacco makes our secondary look damn good.
Give pizza chants.

The Ravens can go 12-4 as far as I care
As long as those 4 losses are to our teams. :)

Correction! 10-6, dont forget, we finally got rid of Eric Wright, so our secondary will actually not suck now. 6 division games 6 losses, sounds good to me………..

10-6 would be hillarious
That would mean they miss the playoffs every…single…year. They still wouldn’t be in the basement because, well…

My Post on that Ravens blog:
Bengals Have Owned Ravens
The last 8 out of 12 games, and the Ravens even accounted for one of their 4 wins last season. Bengals may suck, but they can kick the Ravens’ butts any day. You guys should focus on getting over that Steelers hump and worry about your own problems.
Oh, and btw, check out No. 4 here:

My Reply
Since Flacco has been here we have been 3-3 against you guys and also how many playoff games have you won in that span? That article doesn’t mean much considering one of those teams are the reigning Super Bowl champs to go along with the Jets and us who are Super Bowl contenders. If you beating us makes your season then that is great. You keep that while we keep winning playoff games.

"We all learn from each other, but we all learn most from him."

RE:
What does that have anything to do with anything. We’re just saying don’t write us off as a win before the games are played. That’s all. :)

Did you really just come back with "We win 50% of our games against you since we got Flacco?"

Pencil us in as 2 wins, Ravens.
Just get yourselves an eraser.
LOL!!!
Since we don’t face the Ravens (weeks 11, &17) or the Steelers (weeks 10 & 13) until the second half of the season, this is likely to be the longest thread of the season!!
2012 - Playoff bound!!!
Difference between '09 & '10?
Simply put, the team choked in the clutch last season while winning most of the close ones in 2009. For example:
- Lost the 4th Qtr battles vs. Cleveland (away), Pittsburgh (home) & Baltimore (away)
- Choked in the final drive vs. Miami
- Choked in the final drive vs. Indy after recovering the late onside kick
- Choked in 2nd half vs. Buffalo after dominating 1st half
- Choked in 4th Qtr at Atlanta after storming back and seizing the lead
- Choked on final drive vs. New Orleans
- Choked in 4th Qtr vs. Tampa after having the game virtually wrapped up
Hell, of the 12 losses, 9 of them were truly winnable games in which the team simply forgot the winning ways of 2009. Baltimore lost to us in Cincy — granted, it was a terrible roughing the passer call on Ray Lewis — and should have lost the season finale in Baltimore but not for a Carson Palmer bogus pass on our final offensive play.
