The Cincinnati Bengals signed former San Francisco 49ers cornerback, Nate Clements during the team's practice Saturday night in a move that was somewhat surprising, though necessary to replenish the talent lost with Johnathan Joseph's departure on Thursday.
According to ESPN Senior Writer John Clayton, the deal that Clements signed is for two seasons, $10.5 million with $6 million in guarantees.
The Bengals signed CB Nate Clements to a two-year, $10.5 million deal that has $6 million in guarantees.
The $5.25 million a year average is $4.5 million less that Joseph's deal, who also received $1.7 million more, per year, in guaranteed money. But I'll leave the debate of contracts, values and talent levels to you guys.
