According to Jessica Taloney, anchor and report for WKRG in Mobile, Alabama, former Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom was reportedly shot in the leg Monday morning around 4:30 a.m. in Irvington.
Antwan Odom-- former UA, NFL player-- shot in the leg early this morning.
Taloney tweets that Odom's injuries are not life threatening and that deputies are currently "looking for the shooter".
The Bengals released Odom on July 29 after injuries (and a four-game suspension) forced the defensive end to miss 26 of 48 games during his three-year career with the Bengals.
Odom, with a $6.3 million cap number in 2011, was also due $9.8 million in base salary over the final two seasons of his contract, freeing up $2.9 million of cap space for this season.
