ok bear with me through some of this cuz i will be reaching pretty far. but being the optimist i am i see some patterns that make this yr look eerily similar to 09

1. from what i understand we will be going back to a run first offensive attack and to be honest in 09 it was awesome. palmer really didnt have a great year and i know i am reaching a little on this but it seems comparable to what a rookie with talent would be able to display.

2. our defense was stellar in 09 and i think we have the opportunity to be the same type of defense this year. we will not know until a few weeks into the season but it seems possible right? Our defense wins us games this year just like 09

3. ok so i know we have a new o coordinator but hear me out. brat sucked every year in recent memory but 09 was an exception to an extent. he retailored the playbook to be more run heavy. Kinda sounds like west coast gruden type thing right? i know that one is off base but it sounds good

4. in 09 the steelers were coming off a super bowl appearance and the ravens were searching for recievers to compliment joe flacco and ray rice. kinda sound like this off season. the steelers are comign off a super bowl loss and the ravens are trying to find receivers everywhere but wal mart. i am big into trends and that seems like a trend to me.

I understand taht all this is kind of out there but i needed reason for optimism and if a few of you find hope through it then well i am happy.
