We've suspected that Andy Dalton would be the first Bengals rookie quarterback to start at the beginning of the season since Paul Brown started Greg Cook against the Miami Dolphins in week one of the 1969 season. Today, the team is announcing their official depth chart, and while that depth chart will come out soon, Geoff Hobson has been Tweeting some positions of interest, and one of those is quarterback.

Of course Bruce Gradkowski will be the Bengals backup quarterback and then the team will need to decide between Jordan Palmer and Dan LeFevour to be the third-string quarterback.

But for now, it is official that Dalton will be leading the first string offense down the field.
