All I keep reading is how Leon Hall keeps getting beat by AJ Green, or how Jerome Simpson is really developing and making some plays in practice.  I hear Gresham is a beast (to be expected) and Shipley and Whalen are mirror images in their route running and equally as reliable catching the ball (I hope they find a way to keep both these guys on the roster).  However, I don't really hear anything about solid defense by our secondary.  Can anyone offer some news on the defensive side? 

Based on what I've read I feel good about the D-line, the O-line, the LBs, and the HBs, but the secondary seems suspect.  Why didn't the Bengals go after anyone else after the Whitner deal blew up?  If only for depth.  Players like Kelvin Hayden are out there, and pending Taylor Mays situation he might become available as well.
