Nothing angers me more than the name Andrew Luck. His name is beginning to light a fire of rage in me that rivals that of Mike Brown. I cannot believe some of the people on this website and elsewhere are hoping we go 1-15 or 2-14 so we can draft this prophet known as Andrew Luck. It sickens me as a Bengals fan to hear people optimistically say, “Well, worst case scenario we can draft Luck next year!” I understand this franchise has been terrible for 20 straight years with a sliver of success coming in only 2 of those seasons. However, I refuse to just write off an entire season in hopes that a single draft pick will turn around an entire franchise. I would like to hope that despite how bad the Bengals may possibly be that the team I root for and its fans have enough pride to want to go out and win every possible game. Deciding to pack it in (especially before the season even starts) goes against what football, sports, and competition in general are all about. I would rather win a meaningless week 17 game that prevents us from drafting Luck, then pack it in, and hope this pimple faced college boy is our Lord and Savior.
