Even so...he drove them all the way down to the GB goal line...

…before turning it over on downs. Would of been a tying TD. This kid is pure gameday.

he's a rookie

and the panthers o-line is suspect, next season the panthers will be a hellva lot better.

This is a 2010-style start to the game.

The D is getting shredded to bits on the first drive. Missed tackles, blown coverage and bad run defense all over the place.

This could be ugly, fellas.

Nope.

Not that he can’t tackle, but he’s all or nothing.

Good work, D.

Hold them to 3 and it’s just a one possession game.

Oh, never mind.

Why did Cincy call TO?

Did Denver have a TO?

If not they would have been hard pressed to get a FG off with the clock running

Academic now

back when they were outside the 30 and ran for a loss, I was frantically calling time out from my living room, but the officials didn’t hear

10-3...young team on the road with a bad defensive start

The Bengals should feel like they have a great chance to win this game. They are still in this game folks

sure

but they’re losing in the trenches for the most part. they need to start pushing people around.

Just to take a knee? Stupid! Is Marvin banking on another plat to see if the broncos lose another player?

It didnt hurt anything did it?

You give your special teams a chance to see if they can a big return (however unlikely). Not sure why this is such a bad thing.

I'm confused did Denver have a TO?

Because if they didn’t they would have struggled to get a field goal off .

"At the very end, somebody took a dump right where I stood in the dugout every day." Dusty Baker

by featherman on Sep 18, 2011 5:38 PM EDT up reply actions

Yes. They had one left.

10 seconds is enough time to get a FG play in.

by KSE on Sep 18, 2011 5:39 PM EDT up reply actions

then it real doesn't matter

"At the very end, somebody took a dump right where I stood in the dugout every day." Dusty Baker

by featherman on Sep 18, 2011 5:40 PM EDT up reply actions

Pointless

It would of if one of our players got hurt, like Leon. Why not let Denver run it down to 1 second if that was all they were going to do?Just dumb.

by lbacker2179 on Sep 18, 2011 5:40 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions

This is going to be one those pointless "debates"

where it really doesn’t matter but we’ll argue it for ages.

by KSE on Sep 18, 2011 5:41 PM EDT up reply actions

totally agree...it didnt hurt anything at all

and it could have helped the Bengals but I am done b/c i wont get through to anyone lol

Slower Traffic Keep Right!

by SevenRings on Sep 18, 2011 5:42 PM EDT up reply actions

Agreed

Still think it’s ok to call the TO though. If you get a big return to midfield or farther, you give your team a chance with a play to get in field goal range. Seems like an ok TO.

As far as the injury goes, injuries can happen at any point and we can’t live in fear of injuries when we are trying to win the game.

by C1ncy4Life on Sep 18, 2011 5:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Meaningless play

True, but why risk it for a meaningless play. Just saying it was a bad call. It is a pointless argument.
