Bring back T.O...???

These past 5 days have been my all time favorite....

Right up there with letting go of Jonathan Josephs, resigning mARVIN, spending a fuk-ton of money on Antonio Bryant, and the day we dealt away chad but not cARSON based on "principal." That being said, to summarize these past 5 days:

Jerome Simpson finally became famous.

Jordan Shipley tore his ACL.

Anthony Collins has mARVIN on his side.

Cedric Benson got a visit from the ghost of prison past.

Bernard Scott is a non-factor.

Our D-Line can't stop anything.

Our Offense can't convert on 3rd down.

Dontay Moch and Robert Geathers are still on I.R.

Nate Clements and Taylor Mays have done nothing.

and Mike Brown still breathes...

What people are failing to understand is that Humboldt County is where you get the GOOD SHIT!!! and I can only pray to sweet baby Jesus that Rey Maualuga's people from Eureka aren't involved. However, with now even more problems at our already troubled receiver position, I'm wondering if T.O. has gotten a phone call yet? Aside from knowing our offense, having a pretty good year last year, and filming for VH1, I'm curious if pride on either or both sides will eliminate this option that could ultimately help our team.

I'm even more curious now to see if/how Brandon Tate will help our team. Optimistic on Ced's suspension (as are most folks) and understand that it's only week 3, so we're going to continue to see sputtering on both sides of the ball. Yet once again, we've got some very real issues to deal with and if somebody isn't thinking of calling T.O. then Jerome Simpson has an even larger clientele base than we thought....at least this explains some of the great decision making in the front office.

(and shot out to Josh Kirkendall, frantic savvy on the posts man)

now that the shock of someone suggesting this has wore off

And I read the post, nooooooooooo! T.O is a cancer, plain and simple. He had good numbers but never tried to fight for a ball. T.O would be the last person I want in our rookie qbs ear all season long. Let’s let whalen Tate and caldwell fill the reciever.

"the last person I want in our rookie qbs ear"

You ain’t shittin’. That is my reasoning as well.
I’d rather lose 12 games than have that mess going on in a rookie life.

He's hurt--knee

But even if he was healthy-Hell no.

I gotta go with the crowd on this one. This is one of the dumbest suggestions I've heard in a while

replace TO with Peyton Manning and knee with neck in the above line and it's still true

Though with Manning I heard it was Europe, whereas I heard TO went to South Korea. Don’t know if either is true, but neither is available. The difference is the idjits at ESPN love to rave about how no one wants to sign TO to start for them this week because he’s a jerk. Obviously that can’t have anything to do with the fact that he is injured.

thats true

But t.o is still a jerk.

Chris Collinsworth

Only player i would bring back is Chris Collinsworth.

And his first route would be ran over the middle vs the raves.

How you like them apples Chris ; >

lol wut?

I take it you don’t like him?

In that case, I want to bring back Trumpy and have his first experience to be a night in a limousine with Ray Lewis.

Yes

Chris is a Bengal for life, BUT while he has been in that booth and chair …… He has nothing but negative remarks about is former team.

So it is with PRIDE we send ( him over the middle) for his last catch….

NO T.O. NO CHAD, NO CARSON, NO TJ

I DO NOT want any one of these guys around this team. I’d rather stick with the young hungry guys who at this point in there careers are probally aleady as good as the washed up players listed and they don’t have nearly as much bagage.

Did you mean TJ...

TJ would be a better veteran choice…. but I say cut Tate…. give Simpson a very short leash and call in Gilyard as a return man (if hes available)

by JulianK on Sep 23, 2011 9:04 PM EDT reply actions

Give Hawkins a shot at returning before bringing in Gilyard

Gilyard couldn’t cut it on a team who’s best receiver is Mike Sims Walker.

Also, TO doesn't know our offense.

He knows Brat’s offense. We no longer use that.

Miguel Cairo is so last week.

Trade for Dwayne Bowe.

He’s an oldy but goody, could provide vet leadership. And K.C. Is in a bad place, maybe get em cheap…

by MCSubtext on Sep 24, 2011 12:28 PM EDT via mobile reply actions

bowes not that old

And he’s one of the better recievers in the league. No way kc trades him.

by JCompton41 on Sep 24, 2011 2:52 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions

oldy but goody?

First of all, he’s like 26. Second, he’s the only good player the Chiefs offense has now that Charles is done for the year. Even if Jamaal is there Bowe is still the biggest star on that offense. They’d sooner trade Arrowhead Stadium than Dwayne Bowe.
