Get Gresham the ball, and get him it early.

Surely a rookie qbs best Friend?

First game 6 catches, week 2; 2 catches, week 3 4 catches majority of them coming late. Why isnt this guy not being targeted? On the first drive today Dalton threw a nice completion down the seam to Lee, after that we saw nothing of substance in that area until late in the game. What gives? are we not prioritisng him in the gameplan? If not,why not? Just seems strange to me. Rivers rode Gates early in his career,Romo likewise with Witten, Sanchez still keys on Dustin Keller We saw what Smith had with Davis today.. Gresham has as much skill and physical ability as these guys.

Just makes no sense especialy when Shipley(our best route runner and possesion guy) is out. the 49ers played alot of 2 man/ cover 2 so the TE should have gotten open(yes I know Gresh was targetted down the seam on the last pick).

I'm encouraged by Dalton but I think we could help him out a little more. 3rd and long happened far to often and that is not a rookie QB's best friend.
