The Perfect Storm

Its obvious the Bill’s will be looking past the Bengals focusing on there next match up with the Eagles..

If the Bengals can figure out how to get the run game going. They can do Ball control all day and keep the Bills fire power and " (Mr. look at the Big Brain on Fitzpatrick) on the side line.

Our Top rated D-fense will be fresh all game and maybe get 5 sacks again !.

In Who Dey we trust.

Also on the bills website they are tracking every move we make in free agency and Benson news …. guess that’s there way of preparation .

I disagree. The team was 4-12 last year and lost to some bad teams. I’m pretty sure they know they can’t look past anyone. Also, the Bills have been stout against the run, which is one reason they’ve given up so many passing yards. On the surface, their stats don’t look great, but they’ve given up 1-2 big runs a game and 1 reverse a game that account for a large chunk of total yards against in the Oakland and NE games. As far as the sacks go, Buffalo’s offense is designed to get the ball out of Fitz’s hands quickly. The line was seen as weakness all preseason, but has only surrendered 1 sack and is 4th in rushing. A lot is scheme, but a lot is the players have stepped up their games. I’m not worried about the Bills looking past the Bengals, but I do worry about not being able to snap out of a slow start (if that indeed happens again).

Thank you thank you thank you thank you sireric for bringing the furious punching cat back into my life. - poz

Clear and Present

Yes but we used to have Fitzpatrick on our team, So I’m sure we no him a little better than most teams,. Also the bills are not a better team than the Bengals on paper or in talent.
So i stand strong and Full of faith that the Bengals will rise to every Occasion.

On any given Sunday any team can win or lose, But As a “Conscious Creature” that i am……….

I always see my team in a winning light no matter how dark the hour is.

Stay Classy Cincy.

Well, it’s the web master’s way of preparation…I doubt the coaches look at the website very much.

hope you're right

i’m of the mindset, the bills have something to prove to their fans and theirselves. they will not be looking past cincy. they will come to play. cincy 1-3 and bills 4-0. it could happen.

cincy needs to run to win. failing to do that, we’re going to 1-3.

Take a look around

Nobody in the league is giving our Bengals a shot.

So its not hard to tell how teams prepare … Look at there did not practice list for wed ….
Taking it pretty easy over there…

Don't get us Bengals fans all excited!

All the stats in the post above are nice to know but won’t stop the big L were going to receive come this Sunday, Oct 1st. Marvin Lewis stepped the rattling / off the wall prediction during his last press conference by saying he (and team) will be 2-2 with other NFL teams . Don’t get me wrong I along with other Bengal fans desire and hope for a W but lets be real here and stop dreaming. I mean, of course Marvin is NOT going to say “were gonna lose really bad”. That would not be good cause the 43K crowd attendance would drop lower then ever. Don’t you think Marvin, staff and the team is kind of embarrased when the home crowd is booing you? I wonder how they all feel after a loss and have to speak at a post game conf? I wonder how they feel when they look up in the stand on 2011 HOME OPENER and see open seats everywhere!!? I wonder how “Sales” feel when they look at ticket sales, mechandise? Do you think their saying to themselves " what went wrong?" … I will tell you ya what went wrong, we look like losers. Marvin has NOT instilled a winning spirit in CINCY. You see that spirit is contagious and would catch on through out the city (and be seen in the stands ). ONCE again you all the game is NOT being televised in the local viewing area. Imagine that. I expect to be 1-3 this weekend, I expect we will NOT improve on 3rd down conversions, I expect our defense to give up a few or some big plays to the BILLS, I still expect to see this team have troubles in the red zone. I will say this again, were supposed to be in our easy portion of our schedule and were messing that up. Wait till we play the RAVENS/STEELERS. Everybody is thinking the same thing but not saying it, bottom line is were gonna lose and look stupid at it. After a loss the biggest slap in the FANS faces is to see MARVINS face on TV making excuses and telling lies. When will we be happy? When can we have a winning spirit? When can Sunday NFL football be fun again in CINCY? There needs to be change in the STAFF! I wouldn’t wait till the end of the 2011 season either.

for typing RAVENS/STEELERS and BILLS in all caps but not Bengals.

Regardless of ownership, staff, blackouts, etc. they are my Cincinnati Bengals and I expect them to win every Sunday.

Prediction: Bengals 20, Bills 17
Future Power Rankings: Bengals #19, Bills #10

They are Cincinnatis, fans, and NFLs Bengals. We have been expecting and assuming them to winevery Sunday since the 80s. Dude, their not. I appreciate your optimistic outlook about this coming game at home. I have saved this post and will remind you of your off the wall prediction during the post game show sponsored by Cincy Jungle. For you taking the time to type your prediction of Bengals 20 and Bills 17, you get a minus 1 (-1). For you posting a power ranking like that, shame on you and you get a minus 1 for that too. Thats how were the laughing stock of the NFL for crazy predictions like that. Again, this post has been saved. See you on Sunday Leaping LEO.
