Open Thread: Bengals Cut-Down Day
Alright. We're exploding with updates, so we need an open thread. Right? Right. Here we'll talk about all of the cuts, the change at ESPN's AFC North blog, the (not so) update on the Time Warner situation with the NFL Network and the contract extensions signed by the Bengals. Here's our run down.
Bengals have so far released Jay Finley, the team's seventh-round draft pick out of Baylor. Fui Vakapuna released his walking papers (again), as did linebacker DeQuin Evans and the oft-injured cornerback Brandon Ghee.
Other news of the day:
- UNCONFIRMED: Carson Palmer seen with his agent David Dunn at Paul Brown Stadium.
- No progress between Time Warner and the NFL Network.
- Why Kyle Cook extension is a good for the Bengals.
- The ESPN AFC North blog is seeing a change, with James Walker leaving for the AFC South.
- Bengals worked out three players recently, including former Bearcats receiver Vidal Hazelton.

+1
Evans would be on my 53 man roster, cut V. Rey. Evans is clearly a better player. Thursday I witnessed Evans on the d. line wreckn, Ind. had 2 double team at the end of the game.

Haven't been on the site in a couple days...
And I feel out of the loop. In regards to Ghee, what a waste of a third round pick.
ghee was taken with the 96th pick in 2010
coffman with the 98th pick in 2009. guess you could say ghee was more of a 3rd round waste, not by much though, not by much.
