Source: Bengals Cut Guard Max Jean-Gilles
According to Aaron Wilson, the Bengals have decided to cut guard Max Jean-Gilles.
Bengals cut OL Max Jean-Gilles, per a league source.
Jean-Gilles was signed, who was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft, was signed on August 2 in the wake of the signing and then immediate release of former Arizona Cardinals guard Deuce Lutui due to his failed physical.
This move leaves five guards on the Bengals current roster -- Bobbie Williams, Clint Boling, Nate Livings, Otis Hudson and Chris Riley. On our 53-man roster prediction, we figured that the Bengals would keep three of those five guys -- Williams, Boling and Livings.
Stay tuned as the Bengals still have 18 more cuts to make before 6 p.m.

wow
Mike Brown definitely is not running this team anymore. Mike Brown does not make the obvious " right" choices. He makes decisions based on money only. I bet AD can sleep better now, I know I will.

That helps explain why a guy like Jean-Giles was drafted by the Eagles in the first place.
And didn’t Philadephia previously overpay free agent Stacy Andrews, who washed out to some other team? Clearly, Philadelphia has difficulties assessing offensive line talent.
mathis played great here.
Just for some reason didn’t.play.
