I remembered he was serving time, but I still looked at it as him being cut. It’s Cut-Down-Day, and they said “Benson Released.” Quite misleading.

Cedric Benson may need anger management or something like that, but one thing should be clear to these players that for some reason isn’t. Don’t waste your time in these yahoo towns like Austin – your time there is done. And if you can’t avoid being in them, for instance if you play in one such as Cincinnati, don’t kid yourself about the prospects for hanging out in them. Go hang somewhere where you’re not such a sore thumb – and get your mind right while you’re at it.
