This headline should not surprise anyone for obvious reasons, but I wanted to post it based off of what I just heard. First, anyone up here in Cleveland has already marked down a win against us on Sept. 11th. I live in Cleveland (I know, I know.....how could I you ask? Job, wife, etc., etc. but originally from Dayton area) and was listening to 850 am this morning which discusses Browns football. I thought of it as doing a little "recon" work. Here are a few quotes thrown around on this show, "The Bengals will be a 1-2 win team," "The Browns are a superior team," "The Bengals don't bring much to the table," "The Bengals are a team built on short passes, they have no deep threats," and finally "The Bengals have no pash rush or talent on the D-front, the Browns will be able to easily control the line of scrimmage." I don't know about everyone else, but this brought my blood to a complete boil. Everyone I talk to up here and all Browns radio has them rolling over us in week 1. I will be down there complete with my new AJ Green jersey rooting us on, but thought this might be a good post to let the rest of Bengaldom know that according to Clevelanders, they are already considering themselves 1-0 after week 1. I hope we not only win, but win convincingly (2 scores or more would make me happy) just to remind Browns fans that they are and will always be the doormat of the AFC North. With this year being the opposite of last in terms of expectations, I would love to come out and surprise a few folks right out of the gates. How about starting with Browns fans first? Let's crush their hopes right from the start! Who Dey?!!!!
