Rookie Mohamed Sanu Expected To Make First NFL Start At Wide Receiver

It was a career game for Mohamed Sanu last week against the New York Giants, posting four receptions and securing his first career touchdown in the NFL.

Now Sanu will reach another milestone against the Kansas City Chiefs, expected to make his first start at wide receiver -- he started against the Washington Redskins as the quarterback. Sanu is replacing Andrew Hawkins who suffered a knee injury during Friday's practice.

Sanu is expected to play the slot during three-wide formations with a combination of Brandon Tate and Ryan Whalen playing outside opposite A.J. Green.

Through seven games played during his rookie season, Sanu has generated nine receptions for 103 yards receiving and a touchdown.
