Since the NFL flexed the game I wasn't able to watch it so I'm curious as to what everyone's impression was. Websites do a terrible job of tracking defensive stats so I'm not sure how the defense did other than getting gashed by Rice most of the game (or atleast it appears that way). The only other thing I can gather is that the weather seemed to really affect the Bengals game plan, putting them in a smash mouth game with the Ravens instead of being able to take advantage of their mismatches at WR against the Ravens secondary. Thanks.
To make the word count I'll just say that Houston having Andre Johnson back will create a lot of problems for the Bengals D; however, I think this is the most winnable game the Bengals could have drawn. Dalton will be playing in Texas at a stadium he is familiar with and undefeated in. That will draw a Bengals fan base there and mean the rookie QB is comfortable. The Bengals proved in the first game they can run the ball against the Texans which opens up so much in the passing game. They just have to avoid the stupid penalties and missed blocks that plagued them in the second half of the first game. The weather shouldn't be an issue and Dunlap should be healthy this time.
Your thoughts on the Ravens game are appreciated and I think its time for the Bengals first playoff win since the 90's.
