Open Thread: Championship Weekend

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - JANUARY 14: Drew Brees #9 of the New Orleans Saints talks to Alex Smith #11 of the San Francisco 49ers after their NFC Divisional playoff game at Candlestick Park on January 14, 2012 in San Francisco, California. (Photo by Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)

To me, this is the most exciting week in the playoffs. I love watching the conference championship games almost more than I like watching the super bowl. It's the 49ers hosting the Giants and the Patriots hosting the Ravens. Who do you think is going to win.

Also, if you want to talk about the Bengals, feel free. This is a Bengals site after all.

Saints

I honestly thought going into the playoffs the Saints were the team to beat.

I also thought with today’s playing style, the old adage “Defense wins championships” was fading away. Not so much!!! Although if NE wins it all, that would still make me wonder.

NE will not get past Baltimore

i think I will be routing for the Ravens the rest of the way… For one, the ravens represent the AFC north and it would give more of a reason for Reed and Lewis to retire.

I think if there were ever a time that Bengals take control over AFC North, now is the time!

yea on the flip side, they still have to go against the ravens Dline and backers plus Reed.

The pats defense is worse than the Ravens offesne, but I think the Ravens D can keep the Pats offense in check enough to win. I expect a lot of turn overs lol

I hope Ravens and Niners.

And I want the Ravens to win it all. Then next year we can say we swept the defending Super Bowl champs. Plus, I know it would make Steelers fans sick if they won it all.
