Adam Jones Pleads Guilty

Jones entered the plea in Hamilton County Municipal Court just as his non-jury trial was scheduled to begin. A second misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest was dismissed in a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Judge Brad Greenberg ordered Jones to serve a year of probation, complete 50 hours of community service and pay a $250 fine plus court costs.

Star-divide

What does this mean for Adam Jones NFL career in 2012? Could the NFL suspend Adam Jones for part of the 2012 season or all of the 2012 season? Adam Jones name appears on the list of 8 players than can be disciplined for their behavior during the NFL lockout.

I'm with you!!!

He’s looks too slow, and it doesn’t seem like his head is altogether in the game. It’s time to move on!

I represent the Bengals of Cincinnati with extreme passion and prejudice and make no apologies for it!

it'd be nice if that meant jail time

but he’ll probably still be a Bengal next year.

People who hit women and have their goons shoot people should be in jail, not on the football field.

This is sort of exactly what a fanshot is for.

Anyways, I think I’m about done with him. He has some talent and I like the fire he plays with, but his off-the-field drama far outweighs his production. This year he was necessary because we had practically no one else to be the #2 CB, but after this year I’m hoping the CB position becomes a lot deeper and he isn’t needed.

nope and i beat the page post by about an hour

"the bengals are not a west of the 104 longitude team."

Yes, and there's a reason for that.

When you provide little or no insight, you shouldn’t bump another person who did off the front page of fanposts. If you want to re-post another person’s article and elaborate very little on it, you can do that, but you should use the feature made for doing just that.

To each his own, I guess.

I just think there’s a reason that the fanshot feature is there.

Yeah to each their own

Just seems to be something silly to complain about.

you know you should make your own post about this

rather than hijacking someone’s else thread about it.

or ask josh to let you be the editor for fan posts.

until then, stop it here please.

Um, what?

1. I was done, which was pretty clear from my comment.
2. I don’t know why I’d make my own post about this; I like to use the fanpost feature for things that are supposed to be fanposts.
3. I’m “hijacking you thread”? First of all, it isn’t much of a thread. Second, I don’t see how this is hijacking it.
4. I find the tone of your post to be irritating.

you've made how many posts in this thread off topic about what your own concerns are?

you keep posting it over and over. u had you say, my post was worthy of your time, got it. move on. i’m tired of seeing your troll spam in here every other post about it.

keep it up and i’ll edit the thread to be about you since you seem to think this thread is about you.

lets see

1) you attacked the article, without any authority, acting as you had authority to do so. claiming it should be in another area and not in this area. there are already scripts that determine acceptable length for this post. when you did you get the power or authority to supersede those?

2) you continued to post your off topic argument over and over. you were asked to let it go. you continued.

by palewook on Jan 19, 2012 6:04 PM EST up reply actions

Wow.

I said I thought this should be a fanpost, then went on to treat it normally and reply to it. That led to a discussion between OBF and I which lasted a whole two comments, then I said “to each his own,” which is pretty much universally accepted to mean “let’s end this discussion.” Afterwards, you re-entered the conversation with an arrogant remark on how I have no business saying it or whatever, then condescendingly telling me to stop it in what is similar to the tone of an older sibling who has been granted authority over a younger sibling (the false sense of superiority is what I’m referring to, just to spell it out for you.)

You made this way more than it had to be. So let’s stop talking about it.

sure

your up to like 8 remarks on it.

you kept coming back on the thread harping the same thing over and over. you made your point a couple of times before i said anything. you hijacked the thread long time back, made it about you and what you believe.

1) you dont work on CJ. regardless of what you think defines a fan post or fan shot, its not your place to decide until you are given that position.

2) you keep posting the same thought over and over. if it wasnt a valid point the 1st time, would it be anymore valid on the 8th reply?

3) its disrespectful to feel the need to grandstand and make something about you that has nothing to do with you.

4) you were asked once nicely to stop. and instead tried to use that as an excuse to continue repeating yourself.

Does one who works on this site get paid?

Cuz there’s so many stories threw out the day i think it would be hard to write for this as well as other papers or is it just a hobby

Most of them don't.

I think Josh might, but I’m pretty sure no one else does.

I'm done with this.

I don’t think you’ve quite understood what I’ve been saying. I stated the opinion once. There was a conversation which lasted all of two comments, then I ended it. You then obnoxiously broached the subject again, for no apparent reason but that you think it being your fanpost gives you a right to control others within it. I know I don’t work for CJ, I was stating my opinion. And I simply don’t understand why you feel I made it about me. I think you need to read over exactly what happened.

now that makes the 9th comment of yours about it
I don’t think you’ve quite understood what I’ve been saying. I stated the opinion once

.

count.

There was a conversation which lasted all of two comments, then I ended it.

yet you continue

You then obnoxiously broached the subject again, for no apparent reason

yet another attack from you

but that you think it being your fanpost gives you a right to control others within it.

you took it upon yourself to say this post had no business here. like it was your subjective judgement better than anyone elses and you had the ability and authority to make that choice for us.

I know I don’t work for CJ, I was stating my opinion.

repeatedly

And I simply don’t understand why you feel I made it about me. I think you need to read over exactly what happened.

because you still insist on this?

If he's retained.....

He should be the 4th CB and punt returner.

Otherwise, get rid of him.
