Congrats Bengals

Let me ask a simple question; What's the one thing people on here have been saying about this young Bengals team all year? Answer - With the young talent just wait until next season. Well our new season starts next week in Houston and it's the playoffs baby!!! Everyone is starting over and it doesn't matter how you got in, who you beat to get in, the only things that matters is what you do once you get in because it's a new season and everyone is 0-0.

I'm proud of this team. And beleive it or not, I'm actually proud of this organization as well (for the first time in an extremely long time) on how they performed this year. The culture appears to changing and hopefully starting next week our lack of playoff success will begin to change as well.

I don't think our seeding could have worked out any better for us considering the circumstances and who we play. I mean it's not out of the realm of possibility for us to actually make a run. IMO we have the talent to beat any team in AFC playoff picture (not that it will be easy by any stretch of the imagination). But as the old sain goes on "any given Sunday" anything can happen, this is especially true in the playoffs (who thought the Seahawks could have beat the Saints last year).

First round we play a team who lost there pro bowl starting QB and best defensive player and whose on a 3 game loosing streak. It's the playoffs, therefore no game is going to be easy but this definitely a winnable game.

Second Round - We would play a team with a hall of fame QB and an awesome offense but a terrible defense. They have two great tight ends and a great slot WR, but really no outside (deep) threat and only a pedestrian run game. Our defense is suppose to the strength of our team, therefore if our d-line can apply pressure up front we have a very good chance to slow this offense down and steal another game.

Third Round - If we some how make it this far we would more than likely be playing a team we have already lost to twice (Balt. or Pitt.). This means we would know our opponent very well, especially since it would be a divisional opponent. We already showed we can play with either of these teams (more so Balt than Pitt.) and we all know it's really tough to beat any team 3 times in a year. Not to mention, Baltimore and Pitt would match up against each other the week before and that game is usually bloodbath (very physical), especially in a playoff game. If we could take this game we would be in the Super Bowl baby!!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we are going to the Super Bowl but when you break it down every team in the AFC playoff picture has some deficiencies and flaws, so there's no reason why we couldn't make a run if we got hot and played to our full capability.
