Open Thread: Bowl Games Galore

- Houston and Penn State face off in the TicketCity Bowl at noon on ESPNU.
- Nebraska and South Carolina are in the Capital One Bowl at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN.
- Georgia and Michigan State are in the Outback Bowl at 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
- Florida and Ohio State are in the Gator Bowl at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
- Oregon and Wisconsin are in the Rose Bowl at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.
- Oklahoma State and Stanford are in the Fiesta Bowl at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
Pick your poison.

" Mike Brown is the owner that Cincy doesn't deserve, not the one it needs..."
God damn, Rainey is fast.
I wouldn’t be opposed to the Bengals drafting him as a returner and to move between the slot and the backfield.
I think Demps would be a better option
but the two are very similar in being fast as hell and pretty elusive
Or both
Think how speedy a backfield would be with Baby Hawk, Rainey, and Demps!!
Rainey and Demps are runningbacks
I would ditch Binns, Tate, maybe Scott
I kinda want to draft a WR with one of our first round picks.
Alshon Jeffrey or Floyd out of Notre Dame.
Bill Polian just got fired from Indy
Shocking.

It's all the losers who said "see you at the draft" a few weeks ago
They should all be banned. Well, called out, harassed, and then banned.

This might get lost, but hey, it is an open thread.
Some time in the next few weeks, I would love to see an article about the players who have remained quiet and why. In particular, I would love to see an article about Brandon Ghee. I remember reading comparisons to JoJo in his draft profile and also remember reading that he would make a great safety because he loves to hit. He ended up dealing with some injuries, then got cut, then to the practice squad, etc, so he couldn’t get on the field. Well, he has been back for weeks and I am not sure how many snaps he has taken. I also don’t know how many balls were thrown he way, etc. I know he had a tackle in one game, but that is it.
More importantly, if he can’t make it as a corner now, what the heck happened? Secondly, it isn’t like we have great safeties on this team, so why aren’t we converting him if he can’t make it as a corner?
The reason I would love to see some posts like that are because we are all talking about who we should draft, but it would be nice if we could get some inside scoop on some of the players that remain in the background. On most teams, players don’t play for a reason. As we have seen with guys like Simpson, Atkins and Dunlop last year, Marvin doesn’t play players until he has to so we never really know.
fire up the rosebowl and see how montee looks

Actually it's in Beaverton
Near Portland. Which is on the West Coast. Or at least about 80 miles away from the literal coast, which I think still qualifies as “west coast”.
I just have to keep things accurate— these geography issues are VERY important.
Well, Beaverton, Hillsboro, yada, yada
it’s all Portland lol.
Portland Metro Area… there, that covers it

This Rose Bowl is awesome
Oregon can score at will and Wisconsin has a lot of good offensive players. It’s
21-21 right now.

Who does he think he is, Simpson of the Bengals?

So that's what it looks like when a RB receives a hell of a hit
but still remains upright and gets a good run out of it….

Palewook isn't the only one who can change his signature.
Cincy Jungle: A place where we think Denver is on the west coast. Yes, that means that the Rocky Mountains are actually in the Pacific Ocean.
